The 2026 Good Things lineup is here, with this being the earliest lineup drop in the festival’s history. I’ll be honest, we were slightly off with our predictions but we’re far from disappointed.
Leading the lineup are nu-metal favourites Limpbizkit, who are no strangers to Good Things, having co-headlined in 2023. Joining them are pop-punk legends Simple Plan, modern metal heavyweights Spiritbox, and The All-American Rejects, who will finally make their long-anticipated return Down Under after having to pull out of last year’s festival.
Polaris and punk legends Bad Religion also join the bill, bringing plenty of heaviness and decades of influence between them.
Then we have some very exciting full-album performances. Alexisonfire will perform Crisis in full, while Swedish punk rockers Millencolin will take on Pennybridge Pioneers from start to finish. To top it off, industrial metal icons Ministry join as part of their Farewell Australia tour.
There are also a few notable Good Things debuts, with Speed, Neck Deep, MxPx and Bilmuri all making their first appearances at the festival. While Speed and Bilmuri were predicted heavily, Neck Deep and MxPx are lovely surprise additions.
As always, there’s a strong local presence with Grinspoon, Slowly Slowly, The Choirboys, Headwreck and more joining the party.
While there have been plenty of other names thrown into the mix in the lead-up to the announcement, we reckon this is still a pretty hefty lineup. There’s a bit of nostalgia, modern heavy music, punk legends, exciting debuts and plenty of Aussie talent packed into one day.
Every year, Good Things manages to exceed expectations and 2026 is looking no different. Whether you know every band on the bill or only recognise a handful, there’s plenty here to make Good Things one hell of a day out.
