Hello Asia! Photo Gallery: Clockenflap Day 3 - West Kowloon Cultural District, Hong Kong (30.11.14)

It's the third and final day of Johnny Au's photos from the Clockenflap Music & Arts Festival in Hong Kong - and boy did it go off with a bang. On their way to Australia, The Lemonheads rocked it, Hong Kong's Noughts and Exes impressed, The Stray Katz Big Band covered the classics and Dan Deacon created beautiful, beautiful mayhem. But it was up to Tenacious D and The Flaming Lips to close out the festival...

Clockenflap Hong Kong reveals full festival line up with Jagwar Ma, Jess Ribeiro and Monsieur Graz set to play!

The full festival line up for the Clockenflap festival in Hong Kong has been released, with three Aussies included on the impressive bill of artists! Joining the likes of The Flaming Lips, Travis and Mogwai will be Jagwar Ma, Jess Ribeiro and Monsieur Graz.

Live Review: Tenacious D + Sasquatch - Sydney Opera House (11.05.13)

Ah, Tenacious D. The infamous rock and roll duo (although perhaps they are best described as a "rock and roll tribute act"), comprised of Kyle Gass and Jack Black were last seen on our shores supporting the Foo Fighters at the end of last 2011. Since then they have released a new record (Rize of the Fenix, to little fervour compared to their earlier works), and now they have returned to bring their spirited and hilarious performance to the Sydney Opera House and other venues around Australia on their "Old School and Acoustic" tour.

SXSW Photo Gallery: Day 3 Part 2 ft. DZ Deathrays + Com Truise - Beauty Bar Backyard, Austin (15.03.12)

SXSW's third day of music festivities had kicked off early for me with the 11:30AM performance from the Kaiser Chiefs, but evening lineup was to die for: local Brisbane band DZ Deathrays, as well as 8-bit electro from Com Truise and electro-pop stylings from Teengirl Fantasy.

Foo Fighters + Tenacious D + Fucked Up + Stonefield - Sydney Football Stadium (08.12.11)

When you watch Dave Grohl running around the stage, wearing a massive grin, you can't help but imagine he's channeling his 15 year old self, going - "hey buddy, look how cool it is! Your dreams are totally do come true!" Maybe that's how Dave has kept it real all these years. But however he's done it, it's mesmerizing, it's awesome.

It's rock and roll.

Foo Fighters return just before Christmas to rock Australia with Tenacious D.

The Frontier Touring Company are not just delighted, they’re damn well besides themselves with giddy excitement, to announce what is arguably THE biggest rock concerts of the summer.

#1 chart-toppers the Foo Fighters are returning to Australia and New Zealand for stadium shows and they’re bringing some pretty awesome friends in tow: none other than Tenacious D!
