Scientists create a genetically modified dinosaur in official Jurassic World trailer

jurassic world

It’s a full blown, technologically advanced dinosaur theme park that is to serve as our island setting for the fourth installment in the iconic Jurassic Park series. Jurassic World, due for release June 12th next year, has itself an official trailer now, giving us a nice scope of just how chaotic this film is going to be. The trailer was due to be released this Friday, but someone at Universal is obviously a bit impatient. We thank them for it.

We have more people on the island than ever before thanks to what is considered a safe dinosaur theme park that is completely tourist-friendly so our dinosaur ‘villains’ won’t have to be shipped off to New York in order for things to get really chaotic.

The main takeaway of this trailer however, is that elements of Jurassic Park 4 scripts which have been around for years have still found their way into Jurassic World, and this could either work beautifully, or terribly. From the looks of things, we’re going to go with the former. Bryce Dallas Howard plays the main scientist in the film, leading a team which has made the world’s first genetically modified hybrid dinosaur and Chris Pratt thinks that is a really bad idea, because it is.

“She’s a highly intelligent animal, she’ll kill anything that moves” – Owen (Chris Pratt).

Try not to cry tears of joy when you hear the theme song, you’re going to want to see the final scene of the trailer because Chris Pratt riding a motorbike in a sea of Velociraptors is beautiful.
