Against Me!, The Darkness, Amy Shark & more confirmed for Groovin The Moo 2017

Returning for its majestic 13th year this April and May, Groovin The Moo has dropped its line up for 2017 – throwing back to some of our favourite international bands (plus some names primed to be introduced to Australians for the first time), not to mention a class cut of Australian talent in the mix.

With the likes of Against Me!Amy SharkMontaigneThe DarknessMilky Chance and more on the line up – there’s going to be an eclectic music vibe to be getting amongst.

“We’re thrilled with our line up for 2017,” Steve Halpin of Cattleyard Promotions has said. “It’s a mixture of established, nostalgic and breaking artists and we think there’s something there for everyone.”

Groovin The Moo this year sees its South Australian leg switch up venues, moving from its home at the Oakbank Racecourse further into the city, to the Wayville Showgrounds. Arguably a more accessible site for festival goers to get to on April 28th, GTM heads to the city for this one and we can’t wait.

Also breaking today is details of the ‘Shoot The Moo’ competition – budding photographers (ages between 16 and 25) will have the opportunity to shoot The Wombats from the front of the stage under the guidance of one of the touring GTM photographers. A one of a kind chance, if this sounds like it’s up your alley, check out www.gtm.net.au for more information!

Now, let’s get to the good stuff. A festival pre-sale is kicking off nationally from 9am local, February 1st through until 5pm local,  February 4th. Come 9am local, February 7th, tickets for GTM Wayville, Maitland and Townsville will be on sale to the general public. From 9am local, February 8th, tickets for GTM Bendigo, Canberra and Bunbury will be up for grabs!

A licensed, all ages event, you can head to www.moshtix.com.au or www.gtm.net.au for tickets and further festival information.
