Zorba the Greek closing the Delphi Bank 22nd Greek Film Festival

The 22nd Greek Film Festival’s closing movie will be no other than the classic film, Zorba the Greek. A cornerstone of Greek cinema, this three time Academy Award winning film depicts an unlikely duo traveling through Crete, Greece.  Festival Chair, Nia Karteris said,  “we are proud to showcase this piece of cinema as our closing night film and pay homage to one of Greece’s most renowned troubadour’s.”

From October 14 to November 1, this year’s Greek Film Festival will be showcasing the many talents from the Greek community with movies ranging from psychological thrillers to romantic comedies. Check out the festival at Leichhardt’s Palace Norton Street Cinema.
