The Girl with the Gifts depicts a dystopian future following the breakdown of society after most of humanity is wiped out by a mutated fungal disease that has eradicated free will, turning its victims into flesh-eating ‘hungries’.
It focuses on the struggles of a scientist, a teacher and two soldier who embark on a journey of survival with a special girl named Melanie (Sennia Nanua), who is immune to the effects of the zombie pathogen. You can watch the trailer here.
