Tuesday

Don’t miss the ‘race that stops the nation’! Live coverage of the Carnival begins in the morning, with the Melbourne Cup race on at 3pm AEST. So stock up on the champagne, find a hat and pick a horse!

The Sixties, SBS One, 7:30 pm AEST

The final episode of Tom Hanks’ The Sixties series is fittingly entitled ‘Sex, Drugs And Rock ‘n’ Roll’, and chronicles the rise of Bob Dylan, the Woodstock scene and the psychedelic haze of LSD.

Wednesday

From Dusk Till Dawn, SBS 2, 8:30pm AEST

If you still need a dose of horror after Halloween, settle in for a Wednesday night viewing of From Dusk Till Dawn, where criminals and vampires collide. Written by and starring Quentin Tarantino, the cult favourite also features Harvey Keitel, George Clooney and Juliette Lewis.

Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery, ABC, 9:05 pm AEST

In a meeting of the two Julias, Julia Zemiro takes comedian Julia Morris down memory lane. The unconventional interview format allows an in-depth exploration of the lives of Australia’s favourite personalities, and Morris is always good for a laugh!
