Beetlejuice (1988) – Nine – 9.50pm

In the light of Michael Keaton’s Oscar’s snub, let’s take a trip down to some of the more interesting roles he’s played. A young, newly wed, newly dead, couple end up as poltergeists in their home. Unable to scare away the insufferable new owners, they summon an expert fright master.
Sunday 28th February

Argo (2012) – Nine – 9.10pm

All hail Ben Affleck, who shows us that even if we fall to the bottom we can still come out on top. Based on a true story, a CIA agent launches a dangerous operation to rescue six Americans in Iran during the US hostage crisis in 1980. The plan? To act under the cover of a Hollywood producer, scouting a location for a science fiction film.

Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl – SBS – 10.20pm

In this concert film, the Monty Python troupe perform many of their greatest sketches from Monty Python’s Flying Circus and two Monty Python specials, Monty Python’s Fliegender Zirkus, live from their four-night stand at the Hollywood Bowl in 1980. Jam packed with songs and a host of their finest gags including Dead Parrot, Nudge Nudge, Ministry of Silly Walks, The Argument Sketch and, of course, Terry Gilliam’s animations.
