Watch the official trailer for Point Break

The latest reimaginging of a classic movie comes from Director Ericson Core, who has gone an updated Point Break for release in cinemas early next year. Our first look at the reboot showcases a promising, high-stakes, high-adrenaline action flick which zones in on Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey), a young FBI agent who is in over his head as an undercover elite athlete, joining a criminal group led by Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez) that carries out a series of crimes in extremely unusual ways.

The film promises the most daring athleticism ever seen in a motion picture, and the trailer sure makes it look like Core will be making good on all that ambition. The stunts are performed by some of the world’s most elite athletes across big-wave surfing, wingsuit flying, sheer-face snowboarding, free rock climbing, and high-speed motorcycling

Point Break will be released in Australian cinemas on 1st January 2016
