Watch the bloody new trailer for Quentin Tarantino’s The Hateful Eight

As with all Quentin Tarantino films, The Hateful Eight has quickly become one of the most anticipated releases of the new year, and after watching the newly released second trailer, it’s not hard to see why. The all-star, gloriously violent project is led by Kurt Ressell, who plays John “The Hangman” Ruth, a man transporting a fugitive (Jennifer Jason Leigh) to Red Rock for her execution, the road to which brings them face to face with a bounty hunter played with Tarantino fave Samuel L. Jackson and a former union soldier played by Chris Mannix, which in turn crosses their paths with an unruly mob of characters (The Mexican, The Cow Puncher, The Little Man, and more).

The trailer gives us a better look at plot, the gun fights, and the uniquely accented action Tarantino has become famous for, along with a brief introduction to each of The Hateful Eight. Is that a Coldplay reference at the end? Watch below.

THE HATEFUL EIGHT releases in Australian cinemas exclusively on 70mm on January 14, 2016 with a wide release from January 21.
