The next film in the Underworld series gets title

The quinary to what’s become one of the few lasting vampire franchises in motion, Underworld, has finally received its next title; Underworld Blood Wars.

A franchise that’s never really had too much trouble finding a good cast will return with another selection of international actors, this time dipping into televisions extensive talent pool.

Kate Beckinsale will return as protagonist Selene, and Theo James again as David, with two antagonist roles to be filled by Outlander’s Tobias Menzies and Sherlock’s Lara Pulver. Game of Thrones stars Charles Dance and James Faulkner have also taken parts in the upcoming film.

Anna Foerster will direct the film after making a successful transition from cinematography, and the screenplay will be written by Cory Goodman, who’s previous work includes The Last Witch Hunter and Priest.

The film is set for an October 14 release, stay tuned for more details.
