The upcoming thriller The Darkest Minds has revealed its first official trailer packed with tense action, as a group of teens develop mysterious new abilities, and are declared a threat by the government as a result.
The film comes to us from the producers of Stranger Things and Arrival, and stars Amandla Stenberg from The Hunger Games, Mandy Moore and Game of Thrones‘ Gwendoline Christie. The film is based on the book of the same name from Alexandra Bracken and is directed by Jennifer Yuh Nelson.
The trailer revolves around said group of teens as sixteen-year-old protagonist Ruby escapes her camp and embarks on a journey with a group of runaway teens in bid to find safe haven.
