The first trailer for Stan’s Electric Dreams has landed; release date confirmed

Stan has released the first trailer for their original series, Philip K Dicks’ Electric Dreams, an ambitious anthology drama series based on the short stories written by award-winning sci-fi novelist Philip K. Dick.

Not dissimilar to the ever popular Black Mirror, the series will consist of ten epic, stand-alone episodes, each set in a different and unique world – some which lie in the far reaches of the universe and time and others which are much, much closer to home. While the stories may be worlds apart, central to each is the poignant and warm exploration of the importance and significance of humanity.

The show will be executive produced by Oscar nominee Bryan Cranston who will also star. He will be joined by an all star cast including Timothy Spall (Mr. Turner, Secrets & Lies, The King’s Speech), Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire, Boss Baby), Benedict Wong (Doctor Strange, The Martian), Anna Paquin (True Blood, the X- Men films), Terrence Howard (Empire, Lee Daniel’s The Butler), Greg Kinnear (Heaven is For Real, As Good As It Gets) and Essie Davis (The Babadook, Game of Thrones).

Philip K Dicks’ Electric Dreams will premiere September 18th exclusively on Stan.
