The ABC is now live streaming all of their channels through iview

ABC has become the third Australian Network to offer all of their channels through a live streaming service, joining PLUS7 and 9Now with their comprehensive streaming service iview.

The addition of ABC2, ABC3 and ABC KIDS means that ABC is now offering their entire broadcast spectrum to be viewed through the smartphone app or via iview.abc.net.au. SBS is the only free-to-air network yet to move any of its networks to live streaming (though its On Demand platform by and far offers the most amount of free content of any network).

The ABC announced that,

‘In a further nod to acknowledging that audiences are accessing ABC content across multiple devices, ABC is pleased to announce that from today, ABC2, ABC3 and ABC KIDS will be available to watch live, alongside ABC and ABC News 24 on iview. Audiences can now watch any ABC channel live whenever and wherever they like – including on computers, smartphones and tablets.’

The schedule will be based on the Sydney service and then reflect the time in NSW. The iview service also offers original and exclusive content, including the new documentary miniseries Moment of Truth.

Moment of Truth premiered on the 18th of July and will run for ten weeks, exploring self-filmed revelatory moments of truth from a young woman revealing herself as transgender to her family, to a porn star coming clean to her partner.
