Sylvester Stallone headed to TV with Omerta

Sylvester Stallone is set to hit TV as the 69 year old looks to star in Omertà, a series based on the Mario Puzo novel.

He’s going to play Raymonde Aprile, the “last American Don”, in a show not unlike The Godfather, which Puzo also wrote.

No other roles have been cast yet as this is all still very fresh news. However Antione Fuqua (Training Day, Southpaw and the upcoming Magnificent Seven remake) is set to direct.

At this stage it could just be the pilot but it’s still a very big name to be attached.
