Stranger Things‘ second season to hold Australian Premiere event at the Sydney Opera House

Netflix original series Stranger Things will premiere its first episode  of its highly anticipated second season at an exclusive event at the Sydney Opera House on October 27 for fans of the show. It will air the same time as the global LA premiere and a number of hours before Australian audiences can access the show on Netflix.

Fans will be treated to an eerily accurate recreation of the shows setting of Hawkins, 1984 where the second series resumes, a small U.S town consumed by the upside down, the supernatural mirror of reality. Fans are indeed encouraged to immerse themselves as much as possible by attending in costume where they will be treated to an 80’s soundtrack, arcade machines and more.

Fans will need to subscribe to the Sydney Opera House newsletter before midnight AEDT of the 10 October (that’s today people!!), in order to receive a pre-sale link on the 11 October, as pre- sales will commence at 10am. Non subscribers will get access as of the 13 October. All tickets are free, but be sure to get in quick.

Stranger Things is a Netflix exclusive series created by the Duffer brothers, with its first season being a critical and commercial success. The second season promises a much darker tone and an even bigger mystery to solve.

The complete second season of Stranger Things premieres exclusively on Netflix on 27th October.
