St. Vincent covers The Rolling Stones’ “Emotional Rescue” for A Bigger Splash Soundtrack

It’s been announced that American musician, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, St. Vincent will cover The Rolling Stones 1980s track, “Emotional Rescue” for the soundtrack of Luca Guadagnino’s film, A Bigger Splash, which will be available in Australian cinemas March 24.

The cast of the film includes Tilda Swinton, Ralph Fiennes, Dakota Johnston and Matthias Schoenaerts which is a sensuous portrayal of the desire, jealousy and rock and roll under the Mediterranean sun. Including St Vincent’s cover song, the soundtrack heavily focuses on the The Rolling Stones’ catalogue. A Bigger Splash was also given the Soundtrack Stars Award at the 2015 Venice International Film Festival.
