Second season of Billions to premiere in February

The second season of Showtime drama Billions will arrive on television screens in February 2017. The critically-acclaimed series, which is currently shooting in the New York summer, will see the return of Paul Giamatti as Chuck Rhoades and Damian Lewis as Bobby Axelrod.

Rhoades is a US Attorney who continues to battle for ultimate power against the billionaire hedge fund owner “Axe” Axelrod. The two square off, juggling law, money, power and sex, and bring with them Maggie Siff and Malin Akerman. Siff plays Wendy Rhoades, Chuck’s ex-wife and, conveniently, the best performance coach in the world of hedge funds. Akerman is Lara Axelrod; Axe’s strong, street-smart, and (very) loyal wife.

In this second season, Axe and Chuck battle for control that will see them either evolve, or become extinct.

Brian Koppleman and David Levien teamed up to create, write, and executive produce Billions. Andrew Ross Sorkin also created and executive produced this show, mapping out the war between two men to personal domination.

Billions premieres exclusively on Stan in Australia, on 20th February 2017.
