Resident Evil 7 Biohazard releases free KITCHEN VR demo

Be prepared for a fright, Resident Evil 7 biohazard has released a free demo in an unsettling kitchen setting. The popular horror series gives players the chance to experience a first-person perspective of the Resident Evil series for the first time, with the release of the demo ‘KITCHEN’.

The bite-sized teaser has been made available alongside the release of PlayStation VR, giving fans a chance to test out the ultimate immersive horror experience ahead of its release in 2017.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard will be one of the first AAA games to, as an option, be completely playable in VR from start to finish. Players will have full control over how much they want to engage with the VR experience and will be able to play the same save data in either standard, or PlayStation VR mode.

The seventh installment in the Resident Evil franchise will bring players back to the series roots providing, exploration, puzzles and bringing back the classic inventory system with limited space.

The demo ‘KITCHEN’ is available for free download now on PlayStation 4 / VR. Resident Evil 7 Biohazard releases on Playstation 4, Playstation VR, Xbox One and PC on January 24, 2017.
