PlayStation introduces new PlayLink range with three new titles

Sony Interactive Entertainment Australia have announced three titles released as part of their new social-minded PlayLink range: Knowledge is Power, Hidden Agenda and SingStar Celebration. The PlayLink range, for those not yet up on the console’s new tech, allows players to put down their controllers and instead use tablet devices and smartphones that can now be paired with their TV and PS4 consoles to play in group environments.

Knowledge is Power is a virtual game show scenario where players will need to answer variety of trivia questions in the hopes of outsmarting up to five opponents. Power plays and challenges will also accompany the competitive trivia questions to keep players on their toes as they are distracted in their effort to be fastest and most correct.

Hidden Agenda (pictured above) will put friendships to the test in a gritty narrative-driven crime thriller, looking to be best suited for fans of interactive story games like Until Dawn and Heavy Rain. Gamers will be asked to react to moral dilemmas that will determine the life or death of various characters as well as the general flow of the narrative; just like Knowledge is Power, up to six players can be involved.

SingStar Celebration sees the return of the nostalgic PlayStation title that allows players the opportunity put their vocal skills to the test with a mix of party classics and brand new tracks. Players will also be able to simply use their smartphone with the SingStar Mic App instead of a mic – which also has the extra benefit of avoiding more peripherals to carry around.

All three new titles are available now on PlayStation Store and in select Australian retailers with an RRP of $24.95 AUD each.
