Nominees for the 10th Asia Pacific Screen Awards Announced

Nominees have been announced for the 10th Asian Pacific Screen Awards to be held in Brisbane in November.

This year, 39 films from 19 Asia Pacific countries and areas were nominated for awards across nine categories. The 2016 Asia Pacific Screen awards, which aims to showcase filmmaking in the Asia Pacific region that best reflects its culture, origin and cinematic excellence, saw a record number of 303 films from 43 countries in competition.

The winners of the 10th-anniversary edition will be announced on Thursday 24 November in Brisbane, where the awards will be streamed live via webcast across the globe.
