Monster Fest announces 2017 dates after successful run in Melbourne

After a *monster* year for Australia’s genre film festival Monster Fest, the event is slated to make a bigger and better return to Melbourne next year, making all your gory, scary and eye-opening dreams come true.

The festival is to be held on November 22-26, 2017, with the return of The Swinburne University Media and Communication Monster Academy, celebrating the industry of film with talks from various film-makers and directors that have made their mark on film.

After their most successful year to date, 2016 keynote speaker Ted Kotcheff explained “I loved the creative energy of Monster Fest, the great programming, the enthusiastic audiences. In the course of over half a century of filmmaking, I have attended almost every film festival there is and Monster Fest is one of the most interesting and enjoyable that I’ve experienced.”
