Kim Jong Un Threatens War Over New Seth Rogen Film The Interview

In a move that will make the dictator appear even crazier, Kim Jong Un has threatened violent retribution if Seth Rogen and James Franco’s latest film, The Interview, is released.

The plot of the movie is pretty simple – a talk show host and his producer are given the opportunity to conduct a rare interview with the North Korean Leader, which results in the CIA recruiting them to assassinate him. Despite the preposterous premise, the real Kim Jong Un is livid.

A North Korean Foreign Ministry spokesman has stated that the film is an act of terrorism and that a “merciless counter-measure” would be enacted if the American government doesn’t ban it. Cue a gigantic eye roll. After hearing about the incredibly negative reaction, Rogen took to twitter to comment:

The Interview is scheduled for release in October 9 through Sony…unless the US bows to North Korea’s ridiculous demands of course.
