Inserts Coin(s) becomes monthly event in Sydney; November edition headlined by Uncharted 4: A Theif’s End

In August, Insert Coin(s) started to really shape up as one of Sydney’s newest and most exciting events. At it’s home of Oxford Art Factory, attendees were able to immerse themselves in a range of retro, modern, and indie games as the Sydney institution was transformed into a dedicated gamer’s paradise; we’re talking arcade games aplenty, with a whole heap of music, fashion, food and drink, and general pop culture to go along with it.

August’s sold-out event marked Australia’s first public on-hands experience with Capcom’s hugely anticipated Street Fighter V, a game which we guess you could call the night’s ‘headliner’. October is bringing a similarly enormous headliner to lead an equally exciting line-up, and that is the Community Manager of none other than Naughty Dog, Arne Meyer who will be introducing 2016’s heavily anticipated PS4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End.

Meyer, along with locals Andrew Levins and Angus Truskett (Hey Fam!, Heaps Decent) will be hosting a VIP-only trivia comp at the start of evening, with some really worthy prizes handed out to people who rock up in their best Uncharted cosplay. What prizes you say? Oh, we don’t know, maybe just a bunch of PlayStation®4 1tb consoles, copies of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, and more.

Entry to the event is $15 with free games once your inside, spanning a huge selection of 80’s arcade games, standing units, pinball machines, tabletop games, the latest gaming titles, and more. Doors open at 7:30pm and the cultural party goes ’till late, with fuel in the form of free candy, Woofy’s Hot Dog Cart (with grass-fed Angus beef hotdogs!), themed cocktails, and of course OAF’s very fine selection of drinks.

You can check the official Facebook Page for more info, and pre-purchase tickets from Moshtix. If you want to win some VIP tickets head to the PlaystationAU Facebook Page to submit your best Uncharted trivia team name.
