The Barbie world and the real world are set to collide in a new teaser trailer for Greta Gerwig’s hot(pink)ly anticipated comedy, Barbie.
Barbies and Kens abound, with “beach offs”, rollerblades and choreography aplenty as Barbie (Margot Robbie) and Ken (Ryan Gosling) look to delve beyond their plastic fantastic surroundings.
Gerwig’s film is still shrouded in mystery for the most part, but what we do know is that Robbie and Gosling will be joined by the likes of Issa Rae, Simu Liu, Helen Mirren, Will Ferrell, Emma Mackey, Kate McKinnon and pop star Dua Lipa.
C’mon Barbies (and Ken). Let’s go party!
Barbie is scheduled for release in Australian cinemas from July 20th, 2023.
