Get a taste of craziness in the newest trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s Split

Most acclaimed for his work in The Sixth Sense and Signs, director M. Night Shyamalan knows a thing or two on how to give people a scare while also twisting people’s minds. Written and directed by Shyamalan himself, it really goes to show his enthusiasm for the psychological-thriller genre and how much chaos a story can unfold. Presenting his newest addition to his work is Split, starring James McAvoy.

The plot centralises a man named Kevin (McAvoy) and he has 23 personalities with a confirmed diagnosis by his psychiatrist Dr. Fletcher (Betty Buckley). He kidnaps three teenage girls and they discover the madness of his different personality types, and in the end, they witness another type hidden inside him; a beast ready to be unleashed. In this powerful trailer, not only does McAvoy accurately depict certain individuals, but the storyline of the film is bound to play mind tricks for viewers alike.

Split will be available in Australian cinemas on January 19, 2017
