First trailer reveals Sicario starring Emily Blunt, Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro

The first trailer the for the upcoming crime drama Sicario (which means “Hitman” in Mexico), has been released.

Due out in Australia in September, the film stars Emily Blunt as Kate, an “idealistic FBI agent” which is enlisted by Josh Brolin to aid in the war against drugs that rages between U.S. and Mexico.

Led by Benicio Del Toro, “an enigmatic consultant with a questionable past”, the team sets out on a clandestine journey forcing Kate to question everything that she believes in order to survive.” The film is directed by Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Enemy).

Sicario hits Australian cinemas on 17th September 2015.
