Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for the seventh installment in the hugely successful Fast & Furious franchise, which comes from Aussie director James Wan (The Conjuring, Saw). The trailer features glimpses of the late Paul Walker who shot scenes for the film before his tragic passing, as well as regulars Vin Diesel, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne Johnson, and Jordana Brewster.

In it’s opening scene we witness the consistent progressive stunts the franchise has become known for, as our team displaying just what it’s like driving in the sky, shooting out of a hanger and using the parachutes on their car to seemingly speed ahead in a rescue mission. We also get a look at Jason Statham who first appeared in a post-credit scene at the end of last year’s Fast & Furious 6 as a new antagonist to Diesel’s Dominic Toretto.

Fast & Furious is set to be released in Australian cinemas on 2nd April 2015 through Universal Pictures.
