As they wrap up another year of slaying the Golden Globes, the much adored duo of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler bring their dynamism to the bring screen in upcoming Universal Pictures film Sisters. Universal have released a first-look trailer for the Jason Moore directed film, and it’s every bit as hilarious as you would expect.

The two are pretty much sisters already, so there’s a natural chemistry that will undoubtedly be a big driving force when this movie is released at the end of this year. Fey and Poehler portray two distant sisters who must both travel to their family home to clean out their bedrooms because their parents have decided to sell. With the two thrown together, a bond is reformed and the sisters seek to relive their glory days with a high-school styled party.

Tina Fey is producing the film alongside Jay Roach with Amy Poehler serving as Executive Producer. The script was written by Paula Pell who has worked on Saturday Night Live and 30 Rock in the past. Sisters also stars Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch (of course), Ike Barinholtz, John Leguizamo, Dianne Wiest, John Cena, and James Brolin.

Sisters is scheduled for a U.S release on December 18th 2015. Australian release date is TBC
