Curious Cartel launches “Popcorn Therapy”, a mysterious film event for Sydney

Curious Cartel

We’ve had the Gold Class luxurious cinema experience, then there was the outdoor cinema experience but events company Curious Cartel are bringing a new twist to Sydney’s entertainment scene and movie-going experience, an event that’s perfect for social explorers and those seeking out new trends.

“Popcorn Therapy” will be moving the cinema from inside to outside, transforming a unique secret Sydney CBD based location into scenes from a film. You’ll be given clues once you walk in the door as to what the cult film on show will be via live performances from DJ’s spinning the film soundtrack, as well as a cast of actors and stunt artists and the surrounding film set environment.

There’ll also be live music, food and a licensed bar as well as interactive activities and unique screening setups that will make this a whole new twist to going to the movies. After you’ve had some fun and hopefully had a guess as to what the movie will be on show, you can sit back, relax and enjoy the film!

The first “Popcorn Therapy” event is being held this Saturday 9th May commencing at 6:00pm in the Sydney CBD.
Info about the location will be emailed out to attendees 72 hours prior to the event.

If you’re curious, you can purchase tickets via the Curious Cartel website, and check them out on Facebook or Twitter or Instagram.
