Fans of the Mission: Impossible franchise have a lot to be excited about, with a new trailer for the 5th installment in the franchise Rogue Nation launching online. The new film is written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, and sees Tom Cruise return as the superstar spy Ethan Hunt.
With the IMF disbanded, and Ethan out in the cold, the team now faces off against a network of highly skilled special agents, the Syndicate, These highly trained operatives are hell bent on creating a new world order through an escalating series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and joins forces with disavowed British agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), who may or may not be a member of this rogue nation, as the group faces their most impossible mission yet.
Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation also stars Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Sean Harris and Alec Baldwin.
The film hits Australian cinemas July 30 through Paramount Pictures Australia.
