
In a predictable display of dominance, Avengers: Age of Ultron has blitzed it’s competition in its second week. Earning $7.8 million the comic franchises latest venture has has brushed off the occasional bad review and proved that it is truly “the age” of comic movies.
Unfriended, the innovative, out-of-left field horror flick has had a tremendous showing at second spot making $1.2 and beating out record breaking Furious 7 which still stands strong at number 3 with just over $1 million.
And while Paul Blart 2 manages to somehow stick around in the top 10, family flicks like Cinderella and Home are still winning hearts and minds at number 4 and 8 respectively.

While nothing in the near future is going to topple The Avengers reign, this weeks sees the release of Pitch Perfect 2, the Glee-esque comedy that is sure to attract a mass of cinema goers. Elsewhere, Ex Machina the Sci-Fi thriller from 28 Days later writer Alex Garland could be a surprise hit.
