Predictably, Furious 7  has run rough-shot on the box office, drawing in over $14 million this week. The James Wan helmed action flick has done what the previous 6 effortlessly did and attracted audiences nation wide. Whether its a promising new director,  the inclusion of Jason Statham or the intrigue of seeing Paul Walker’s departure following his tragic death during filming, there wasn’t a shortage of reasons to turn out to see Furious 7.

Elsewhere, Cinderella sits at a solid number 2, pulling in just over $3 million. School Holidays are in full swing as Dreamworks’ Home and Spongebob: Sponge Out of Water takes number 3 and 4 respectively, earning just under $2 million a piece.
