Billie Eilish talks the music of James Bond in latest No Time To Die: The Official Podcast Series episode; “I wanted to give the song something I’ve never done before”

Launched on September 9th on all major podcast platforms, No Time To Die: The Official James Bond Podcast features unrivalled behind the scenes access to one of the world’s most successful franchises.

Hosted by British film critic James King, the six-part series features interviews with director Cary Joji Fukunaga, producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, and cast members Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Jeffrey Wright, and Billy Magnussen.

Each episode focuses on a different aspect of the Bond universe, from location and characters to action and music.  The episode launching today (September 16th) – “The Music of Bond” – centres around the iconic chording of the theme songs over the years, from Shirley Bassey and Duran Duran to Madonna and Adele.

Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas O’Connell, both the writers and composers of the latest Bond theme, the Grammy-winning “No Time To Die”, join the conversation to relay how producer Barbara Broccoli got them on board, how they wanted to pull specifically from the Daniel Craig canon of Bond movies when creating the song thematically, and how they wanted to give the song something that Billie has never done before vocally.

No Time To Die: The Official James Bond Podcast is now available on Apple, Spotify, Acast and all major podcast providers. Apple.co/007.
