Huawei green lights Australian comeback with Watch Fit 4 series

After a notable absence from Australian shores, Huawei has returned with a statement, launching its impressive Watch Fit 4 series with a clear aim at challenging Android leaders Samsung and Google when it comes to wearables. The Chinese tech giant has unveiled two compelling options: the standard Watch Fit 4 and the premium Watch Fit 4 Pro, both competitively priced and powerful on paper.

There’s no beating around the bush – these watches look remarkably similar to Apple’s offerings, with the FIT 4 Pro bearing an uncanny resemblance to the Apple Watch Ultra. The Watch Fit 4 Pro features a titanium alloy bezel, aluminum body, and sapphire glass screen, while both models sport a 1.82-inch AMOLED display that’s bright enough for easy outdoor use.

Huawei has always been a beast when it comes to battery life. Both devices offer up to 10 days of battery life, absolutely crushing Apple’s daily charging routine. This makes them ideal companions for Australia’s outdoor lifestyle, whether you’re hiking or surfing.

Unlike many competitors, Huawei’s approach will work on both iPhone and Android, removing the ecosystem lock-in that typically defines wearable purchases. This inclusive strategy could prove particularly appealing to Australian consumers who aren’t fully committed to one mobile platform.

The Watch Fit 4 Pro includes the HUAWEI TruSense System to track health and fitness indicators, incorporating heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂) monitors. For golf enthusiasts, the Pro model provides free access to over 15,000 global and 1,350 Australian golf course maps – a feature that could genuinely appeal to weekend warriors across the country.

Both devices are priced from AUD $299, with the standard Fit 4 at $299 and the Pro reaching $469. The most expensive model is the green pro (pictured above) in a 3D wind brush woven nylon for quick dry features for $499.
