World’s top chefs give their best recommendations in the third edition of ‘Where Chefs Eat’

More than 30 Australian chefs will be included in the latest edition of Where Chefs Eat, a unique guide that features a whopping 7,043 recommendations on where to eat around the world, with those recommendations all coming from some of the world’s most respected chefs. Now in its third edition, the guide seeks to include around 4,528 restaurants dotted across the globe, from top Michelin starred eats to small roadside cafes and hard-to-find hole-in-the-wall treasures. It’s about as close as you can get to having the best chefs in the world at your beck and call when it comes to deciding what the hell to eat while traveling, whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The book features world renowned names like Magnus Nilsson, Elena Arzak, Niklas Ekstedt, Nathan Outlaw, Jason Atherton, Hélène Darroze, Stephen Harris, Yotam Ottolenghi, René Redzepi, Alex Atala, and more. Aussie chefs include Dan Hunter, Ben Shewry, Danielle Alvarez, Josh Lewis, Morgan McGlone and Analiese Gregory as well as a few others, join contributing editors Joshua David Stein, Evelyn Chen, and Natascha Mirosch, as well as respected critic Joe Warwick in helping people find their new favourite drinking and dining spots.

From Sydney’s Golden Century to some of the best Mexican you can find in Chicago, the book contains some very interesting insights and should go far in helping people be more discerning when it comes to spending hard earned money on eating out. Aussies who don’t have any travel plans coming up should get a lot out of this one too, seeing as there are 260 new down under restaurants included alongside other unexpected discoveries, like Toronto having the most BBQ restaurant recommendations in the world and Italy having the most restaurant recommendations outside of a major city.
