Twinings are bringing a public tea house pop-up to Oxford Street (Sydney)

Free tea? That’s always a good thing, especially when it’s a brand new blend that’s not yet been released by top selling brand Twinings. Drawing on the essence of their iconic London flagship, Golden Lyon, Twinings will be temporarily taking over the space at 17 Oxford Street in Paddington, offering anyone free samples of their brand new Morning Tea blend every afternoon across five days.

Morning Tea, which was inspired by the spirit of Australian women, has also given life to a neat little art competition, tasking some of the country’s most talented with submitting pack designs. Well known Aussie women from Carrie Brickmore and Natalie Bassingthwaighte to Nicole Kidman and Samantha Harris will have their designs displayed through the pop-up, all for the public to cast their votes on the top four. The final winner will be announced on May 11th.

The pop-up will be open 10am to 4pm each day from 20th to 25th January, with free tea sessions running on the hour, every hour with a first come, first serve approach.

Morning Tea sales in supermarkets across the country will contribute 10c per pack sold in support of the charity chosen by the winning designer.
