Iconic legendary former lead singer of the Sex Pistols, John Lydon, returns to Australia with Public Image Ltd (PIL) on their “This Is Not The Last Tour” across Australia in January 2027 for a long-awaited run of headline shows. It will be the band’s first Australian visit in over a decade.
Formed in 1978 following Lydon’s departure from Sex Pistols, PIL quickly redefined the boundaries of punk, fusing dub, experimental noise and avant-garde sensibilities. Known for their intense and unpredictable live performances, PIL’s 2027 shows promise a career-spanning set and confrontational spirit that has defined the band for over four decades.
