Melbourne’s favourite makers of boozy Italian good times are back with a new flavour that’s impossible to ignore. Tommy’s Booze – the locally made liqueur brand born from friendship, hospitality and a whole lot of fruit – has unveiled Kiwi, a limited-edition release that might just be its boldest concoction yet.
Sweet, tangy and unapologetically playful, Kiwi joins the growing Tommy’s lineup alongside Limoncello, Mandarino and Lampone, bringing a bright green burst of personality to the cult-favourite range. And like everything the brand does, it arrives with a sense of fun firmly intact.
Created by Melbourne hospitality duo Tom Giurioli and Dan Leuzzi – the team also behind Windsor institution Freddy’s Pizza – Tommy’s Booze has carved out a loyal following by taking traditional Italian-style liqueurs and giving them a distinctly local, laid-back spin. Real fruit, minimal ingredients and maximum flavour have become the brand’s calling card.
What started with a bag of lemons and a phone call to Tom’s Nonna in Rome has since evolved into a nationally stocked label poured at dinner parties, bars and late-night hangs across the country. But while the original flavours have become staples, the duo felt it was time to shake things up.

Enter Kiwi.
Made using just four ingredients – kiwi fruit, pure alcohol, water and sugar – the new release keeps things refreshingly simple. The result is a vibrant liqueur with a sweet-and-sour kick that feels equally at home splashed into a spritz, shaken into cocktails or poured ice-cold straight from the freezer.
“Our original three flavours have been around for a while now, and we felt the range was ready for something new,” co-founder Giurioli said. “Tommy’s has always been about doing things a little differently, so we went back to the lab and started experimenting with new fruits. Kiwi immediately jumped out. It fit right in, and it’s not something you really see in liqueurs.”
That willingness to lean into the unexpected is part of what has made Tommy’s resonate beyond the traditional limoncello crowd. There’s an irreverence to the brand that feels unmistakably Melbourne – equal parts European tradition and backyard party energy.
Like the rest of the range, Kiwi is crafted with an emphasis on quality ingredients and less waste, delivering a fresher taste profile with lower sugar than many traditional liqueurs. It may have roots in classic Italian digestifs, but Tommy’s continues to treat the rulebook more like a loose suggestion.
After all, as the brand likes to put it: they make the booze, you make the rules. Capiche?

Tommy’s Kiwi Liqueur is available for a limited time through selected stockists and via Tommy’s Booze.
The liqueur is bottled at 20% ABV in 700ml bottles (roughly 23 shots per bottle) with an RRP of $65.
