The Grounds of Alexandria are opening a new site on the lower north shore (Sydney)

It’s the dining oasis hidden in Alexandria that has pretty much become a suburb of its own. The Grounds of Alexandria remains one of the brightest beating hearts of Sydney’s cultural scene, consistently attracting sizable crowds of all-ages to play around in the garden, relax in the atrium, and make pig noises at heavy-set superstar Kevin Bacon. In recent years the property has expanded to include the leafy Potting Shed and super secret bar The Lock-In, now they are prepping an expansion of a different kind.

The Ground’s Ramzey Choker and Jack Hanna have announced that they will be opening on the Lower North Shore sometime in the future, and while details are few and far between right now, Broadsheet report that the new venture will feature a nursery. Reports also indicate that the site is located near the Royal North Shore Hospital, with more details to come.
