Sydney Harbour’s Fort Denison Restaurant announces Sunday long lunches

From November 29th and all the way through January 2016 picturesque island venue Fort Denison Restaurant will be bringing back their popular “Sunday Sunsets” series, offering the perfect spot for a day of drinks, dining, and live music. Every weekend Sydneysiders and visitors will be able to book a spot on the island to settle down and take in the sunset either in the restaurant or outdoors on the many couches that line the area, getting to experience just why Fort Dension was recently named in the top five water restaurants in the world.

A weather appropriate menu will on offer each Sunday, including a ‘drinks and bites’ menu that features lamb sliders, fish tacos, Alaskan crab tostadas, Sydney Rock Oysters, fine cheeses and charcuterie boards. All this washed down with some cocktails and other beverages on offer.

Your sun-down soundtrack will be provided by the super talented Zak, Fort Dension’s resident DJ and saxophonist who plans to play the background with the sounds of acid jazz and old school R&B

In an effort to make getting there and back more convenient this summer, Fort Denison have announced that special ferry services will be operating from Circular Quay Wharf 6 as well as limited shuttles from Manly and Watsons Bay. For those that want to get there a bit quicker, water taxis are also available.
