Saké Restaurant & Bar now offering Saké, Sushi & Sashimi Masterclasses

Splendid.  Spectacular.  Superb.  Smashing!  If you’re a fan of Japanese cuisine, you’ll be pleased to hear that Saké Restaurant & Bar are now running Saké, Sushi & Sashimi Masterclasses from their restaurants in Double Bay and The Rocks.

Led by Saké’s resident drinks experts, guests will be taught the history of saké (Japan’s national beverage), learn about its different flavours, and be able to pair them with traditional sushi and sashimi dishes, some of which are available on Saké’s menu.

There are three masterclasses to choose from:

  • Basic: $65 per person – includes 4 sakés paired with snapper, tuna, salmon and unagi (freshwater eel) sashimi and nigiri sushi
  • Premium: $95 per person ‑ includes 6 sakés paired with menu highlights such as scallop sashimi, scampi nigiri sushi and tuna aburi (lightly grilled tuna)
  • Deluxe: $125 per person – includes 6 sakés and paired dishes, plus the choice of a bottle of saké to take home, or two additional saké pairings

A wonderful introduction to the delicate flavours of Japan, the Saké, Sushi & Sashimi Masterclasses are available every day before 8pm for groups of 4 or more people.  For bookings, head to www.sakerestaurant.com.au/reservation
