Poof Doof Sydney will be streamed live from ivy this weekend

Legendary LGBTQI+ Sydney club night “Poof Doof” is going digital now that we’re all isolating at home. The inclusive club night, which shifted to ivy for a weekly residency towards the end of last year, hasn’t given up despite the whole not going out thing, pushing forth into a “Poof Doof Direct” concept which takes the whole thing online.

This Saturday 2nd May from 9pm, Poof Doof will be streamed live with headlining dance stalwarts Sneaky Sound System, host Jimi the Kween, and a long list of DJs including Sveta, Troy Beman, James Alexandr, and drag artists Danni Issues, Hannah Conda and Faux Fur.

It’s not the first live stream the club night has pulled off, with the past few weeks drawing up to 30,000 viewers all doing their best to recreate the dancefloor at home, scored by a fierce mix of house and techno.

Anyone who wants to take it a step further can order specially made Poof Doof Party Packs online for delivery from Merivale. This includes a limited edition rainbow bottle of Absolut Vodka, two cans of red bull, two cans of Cascade soda water and two bottles of Hahn Super Dry at a price of $75. Orders must be made by 9am every Saturday to be delivered in time to enjoy with the live steam.

You’ll be able to tune in on Poof Doof’s official channels via Twist, YouTube and Facebook.
