Peters release super premium collection of Gelato Messina drumsticks

The first big Australian brand collaboration of 2019 is here, teaming Peters Drumstick with Gelato Messina for a limited edition collection of four drumstick ice creams. Launching around Australia from mid-January, the collection reimagines four of Messina’s most popular flavours as the classic Aussie drumstick as we steam towards what is usually the hottest month of the year.

The classic Peters Drumstick, which has been around since 1963, serves as the base for these four flavours: Mango & Salted Coconut; Vanilla Bean & Peanut Praline; Roasted Hazelnut; and Dulche de Leche. All four are resulting from months and months of back and forth between Peters Drumstick’s factory in Mulgrave and Messina’s kitchen in Rosebery. A strict dedication to handcrafted ingredients has been maintained, which should easily come across in the flavour profile and see these flying off the shelves.

“At Messina we are always innovating, so when the idea of collaborating with Peters Drumstick came up, we were excited. We knew it would be fun to get our hands on something so familiar to Australians and put our unique twist on it”, said Declan Lee of Messina.

The entire Drumstick X Messina collection is available for a limited time from Coles, Woolworths & Independent grocery stores around the country from mid-January. Each flavour will come in a multi-pack of 4 RRP $9.99. Drumstick X Messina Mango & Salted Coconut and Roasted Hazelnut flavours will be available in the petrol and convenience channel nationally. Loose Pack RRP $4.90. See below for all flavour breakdowns
