Kimpton Hotels continue to expand its Boutique luxury accommodation around the world, with the opening of a brand new hotel in Music City USA, Nashville, last month and plans for a Toronto, Canada location mid-2018.
Making its debut in the heart of Nashville’s lively Midtown neighbourhood, the Kimpton Aertson Hotel opened its doors on the corner of 21st Avenue and Broadway in early June.
The opening marks the brand’s first venture in Music City as it expands its footprint in the Southeast. With the historic Music Row located just steps away, Kimpton Aeston Hotel has embraced the local community by partnering with the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).
As part of the alliance, the two well-respected organizations will offer NSAI’s Songwriter Rounds Experience as part of an event package that includes an exclusive discount, complimentary event room rental and a complimentary post-show reception. Following the Nashville debut, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants also announced that it will be opening its first Canadian property in the high-end neighborhood of Bloor-Yorkville in Toronto, mid-2018. Amid Bloor-Yorkville’s luxury retail and cultural destinations, the Kimpton will offer access to the energy and activity of one of the city’s most exciting epicentres, right at the intersection of Bloor and St. George Streets.
Owned and developed by InnVest Hotels LP, one of the largest hotel owners in Canada, the new hotel will be a full conversion of the current Holiday Inn Toronto Bloor Yorkville. The revitalized 13-story property will comprise of 189 guest rooms, 18 suites and one Presidential Suite and a Bloor-Street-facing restaurant. Additional amenities include a fitness centre, complimentary public bikes, yoga mats in every room, morning coffee and tea, and a nightly social hour.
