Joe & The Juice is on the path to redefining Sydney’s juice bar scene

Joe & The Juice is a hip, healthy juice bar chain originating from Denmark that has been successfully blitzing up nutritious juices across America and Europe. The man behind it all is Kasper Basse, a former martial arts champion and black belt, who decided to create a healthy juice café that offers a unique experience. It goes beyond what you would normally expect of a juice bar, by creating a large vibrant establishment inviting you to stay and hang out.

Though it may seem like just another juice bar, and they do indeed serve juice as the main focus, but the whole joint delivers an unrivaled ambiance with funky upbeat tunes and extra-friendly, energetic staff. The interiors pair elements of New York loft-style with Nordic elegance, perfectly balancing an edgy, cool look with a feel of spacious simplicity.

The place is lit with warm, bright lights and decked out with high and low tables accompanied by stools, comfy lounges and soft chairs. The decorated walls add to the aesthetic, dotted with large nostalgic canvas prints and photographs. Joe & The Juice is perfect for either a quick rehydrating (or caffeinating) pit stop or a place to relax, socialise or do work. Plus, for the corporate folk keen to mix up the conference locale, there is a private meeting room available upon booking, featuring a large central table with chairs, whiteboard and several power points.

The menu is packed full of delicious, juicy creations and healthy products, all freshly made in store. The juice list boasts an impressively long list of amusingingly-named options, like the ‘Go Away Doc’, ‘Sex Me Up’, ‘Broc ‘n’ Roll’, ‘Young Blood’ and ‘Hell of A Nerve’, plus a bunch more.

The menu is mostly made up of fruity and vegetable juicy goodness, however on offer is also a range of shakes, ‘hand’ shakes (milk/mylk based), coffee and health-shots. If you are feeling peckish, the sandwich menu is satisfying and comprehensive, boasting subs like the Tunacado, Serrano, and Joe’s Club, with the choice to add extra toppings.

A feel-good fact is that for every new Joe & The Juice bar opened, another child’s education is sponsored. Through a partnership with Bornefonden, Joe & The Juice are helping disadvantaged children access education, and are now sponsoring more than 180 children in Benin.

So far Joe & The Juice have three Sydney locations – Pitt Street, T2 Domestic Terminal, and their latest at Exchange Place in Barangaroo. For more info head to their website HERE.
