Tuesday December 1st will officially move Sydney from spring to summer, and one of Bondi’s most famous venues are using that as a reason to throw a lavish free party. Icebergs Dining Room & Bar will be bringing back their annual “Icebergs First Day of Summer Party” for the 13th year, inviting the public to join Maurice Terzini and famous Head Chef Monty Koludrovic, as well as the rest of the team behind Icebergs, to toast to another Bondi summer with handcrafted food, drinks, and tunes.
On the canapé menu this year: Goats Curd Tartlets with Sorbello tomato and lemon thyme; Saffron & Mozzarella Arancini; Beef & Truffle Rotolo with porcini mustard; Burschetta of Hiramasa Kingfish; Kohl Rabi & Anchovy; Italo Dining’s classic Grilled Mortadella Panini; and Iceberg Bar’s popular Polenta Chips
What started out as an intimate party with a few friends, FODS has grown over the years and proved to be the one of the venue’s most anticipated events. It kicks off at 7pm and is completely open to the public with no bookings necessary.
