Grain Bar and Archie Rose team up for the ‘Summer of Gin’ (Sydney)

Grain Bar has teamed up with the crew over at Archie Rose to help welcome their ‘Summer of Gin’ program, which entails a series of five different events all celebrating the diversity of the spirit from now until 2nd March. The program, which will bring about a bunch of unique sensory experiences coupled with house-made infusions, tasting plates, and a special gin cocktail menu, will be grounded by a super exclusive small batch gin created by Archie Rose, featuring a rare mandarin botanical.

The limited edition small batch, simply named Grain Archie Rose Gin, will be served only at Grain Bar, highlighting its unique profile that is made from a total of six botanicals infused by Master Distiller Dave Withers. Said to strike a perfect balance, the small batch includes both floral and earthy notes thanks to the use of coriander seed, Dorrigo Pepperleef from the Northern Tablelands of NSW, cassia, cardamom, and mandarin.

“By respecting each botanical and the role they play when flavours marry together, as well as utilising Dave’s wealth of experience and expertise, we’ve crafted a one-of-a-king and deeply complex gin”, said Grain Bar manager Roderick Boerma. “The result is an elegant and sensual spirit that elevates and adds a freshness to classic dry martinis and complements a variety of tonics. Top notes greet you to the glass and linger on the palette to keep gin enthusiasts coming back for more”.
