Gelato Messina and Burn City Smokers plan Southern BBQ pop up for Sydney

As their awesome Messina Eats series rolls on, dessert lords Gelato Messina have tapped the folk behind Burn City Smokers to fire up for their latest weekend pop-up, bringing a heady mix of ice cream and good ol’ southern BBQ to Rosebery.

For previous pop-ups Messina have gone with the likes of Wonderbao and Huxtaburger, so there’s a clear trend of plucking some of Melbourne’s finest and bringing them up to Sydney for a carpark cook-off. This one is arguably their most delicious yet, with BCS lugging their beastly smoker all the way up to give the people slow-cooked, smokey slices of beef.

Messina will be wrapping things up with some classic Southern-inspired desserts, namely a Pumpkin Pie and Chocolate Soft Serve, while BCS will be pumping out Smoked Beef Short Ribs some Smoked Beef Brisket Burgers, and sides of Smoked Beans over Fries.
