Mike McEnearney launches “Kitchen by Mike at Home” online delivery

Mike McEnearney has officially launched Kitchen by Mike at Home, a brand new offering from the stalwart brand with pre-cooked meals available for delivery. Like many other businesses, the award-winning chef and restaurateur has adapted to the current restrictions with a one-stop online shop for people in lockdown can order in there weekly meals and staples.

With a delivery scope taking in Sydney’s inner west, eastern suburbs and low north shore, KBM at Home will highlight some of the state’s best producers, with family size or smaller portion meals available at affordable prices. This includes wagyu beef shin and stout pot pie with suet crust, meatloaf in tomato sauce, and Moroccan lamb strew with chickpeas, rhubarb and sumac. Some of Kitchen by Mike’s more popular dishes, like twice baked goat’s cheese souffle with rosemary cream, and chilled vanilla rice pudding, will also be available.

Mike’s even made his legendary sourdough bread available in limited amounts for people to add to their weekly order, as well as larder staples from his own range of condiments and jams. Customers can order their items individually or go for a “Weekend Roast” option which includes marinated whole free-range chicken in verjus thyme, sweet potato and red cabbage gratin, and that delectable chilled vanilla rice pudding.

A “Vegan Feast” option is also on the platform for plant-based diets, with dishes like silverbeet, brown rice and olive pie, and vegan dark chocolate and beetroot cake.

Drinks available hero local wineries in special wine packs, alongside beers and sodas. The focus for the wines is on small artisanal producers making minimal intervention drops.

After the initial phase of the online store, which will focus heavily on ready-made meals, Mike will also be putting together produce boxes and pasture raised eggs from Carriageworks Farmers Market, for which he is Creative Director.
